Master Alexandris Workshop

On the weekend of 21st and 22nd August 2010, USMA enjoyed the expertise of one of ITF’s great masters, Master Vasilis Alexandris, 8th Degree.

The morning training sessions on both Saturday and Sunday of the workshop introduced self defence for parents and newcomers to Taekwondo. This innovative training format served to provide insight for non-martial artists on what is available to them in the world of martial arts through ITF Taekwondo. At the same time, the training format served to help Black belts understand the way of Instruction through breaking down self-defence to be accessible to novices.

The afternoon training sessions pushed the seniors and Black belts to a new frontier in self defence using Chang Hon Taekwon-do.

Once again it was both an honour and a pleasure working with a Master of the calibre of Master Vasilis Alexanris, and it was a great weekend of training for USMA. [nggallery id=16]
